Kutch Beyond the Rann
5 Days / 4 Nights
Heritage, crafts, the White Rann, a Harappan city and two remote roads, in one unhurried circuit from Ahmedabad.
About the journey
Most Kutch trips stop at the White Rann and turn back. This private journey keeps going.
From the craft villages of Bhujodi and the grasslands of Banni, it visits Kalo Dungar, watches sunset on the White Rann, then crosses the salt desert on the Road to Heaven to Dholavira, one of India's great Harappan cities. It returns along the new Road to Infinity to Bhachau and Ahmedabad. One circuit, no backtracking, and time to stop where it matters.

More about this journey
Why this route
Most Kutch tours return to Bhuj after the White Rann. This journey continues east across the Rann and comes home from the Dholavira side.
Most visitors see the Harappan city on a rushed day trip. Staying means a quiet evening, a sky full of stars and an unhurried morning.
A new road across the Rann near Khadir that few itineraries include yet.
Real time with the weavers of Bhujodi, not a ten-minute shopping stop.
Nights in Banni and Dhordo, close to the Rann, in Bhunga-style stays.
Best time to go
November to February, when days are pleasant and nights in the Rann are cold. Full-moon dates are the most magical on the White Rann and book out first.
Planning it privately
This is a private journey, so the dates, pace and stays are yours. Travelling with parents? We keep drives shorter, add rest stops and choose stays with easy access.
